Hoi! Ik ben BLOOMIE. Het doet pijn om te zeggen, maar ik ben TEKOOP.
Ik ben gemaakt in 1982 in California waar het altijd lekker warm en droog was en ik met mijn dakraam open genoot van de zon. Ik ben nu al vijf jaar in Nederland en toer graag een beetje rond. Mijn taxatiewaarde is 14500 euro, maar volgens mijn chauffeurs ben ik goud waard. Ze hebben afgelopen jaar veel liefde en aandacht aan me gegeven. Ik heb een gereviseerde versnellingsbak, een nieuwe remcilinder, winter- en zomerbanden, beschermde wielkuipen en nog veel meer! Ik kan wel 7 personen meenemen, maar mijn achterbank kan er ook uit waardoor ik nog meer spullen kan meenemen. O ja, mijn stickers kunnen eraf.
Ik hou van benzine, olie en veel liefde.

I was born in 1982 and lived in California for 31 years where it was warm and dry and I enjoyed the sun with my massive sunroof open. I moved to the Netherlands five years ago and I love to tour. My appraisal value is 14500 euros, however I believe I’m worth my weight in gold. My owners gave me a lot of love and attention the past year. I have had my rebuild gearbox, a new brake cylinder, fresh winter and summer tires, protected wheel arches and more! I can carry up to 7 people, safely with seatbelts and all. My back seat can fold flat for long cargo. I can swallow a lot. Ah yes, I got used to them, but my stickers can be removed without damage as they are special car decal stickers.
You can wake my up anytime for petrol, oil and or love.

Hit and run Friday on Bloomie. It was hit without the offender leaving a note! It must have been in the parking garage whilst grocery shopping or overnight at home. More local friends (Wateringse veld, Den Haag) might have see something?

Bloomie heeft een lelijke parkeerschade! Gisteren ochtend ontdekt. Iemand heeft er flink langs geschaafd met een auto of winkelwagen of iets maar niet mans genoeg om een briefje achter te laten... Bijna 2 meter lang! 3 panelen maar liefst en zowel het rode als witte deel. Mocht iemand iets gezien hebben toevallig? Laat ajb weten. Dank.

2018 is almost over. 2019 is around the corner and

2018 is almost over. 2019 is around the corner and will hopefully be a beautiful year for you. Our world trip is done. Almost 4 weeks ago already we left Melbourne for Amsterdam with a short stop in Doha. With the travelling over, our journey towards our destination isn’t. You can read about is in our latest and for now last blog.

And we are on our way (back) to the Netherlands. A

And we are on our way (back) to the Netherlands. A near 15 hour flight followed by a 7 hour on the last leg. Melbourne -> Doha -> Amsterdam.

This was an epic journey and overall great family time.

We visited 15 countries and spend 5 months travelling. Met up with (former) colleagues, friends and seen every minute development of my infant daughter. Been challenged several time by my eldest. Further bonded with my wife. Worth the investment (and job security risk)? Every penny!
Never be afraid when you arrive at this crossroad in life. Take the gamble and let the ride learn you life!
And now practical (and for real): Back to finding some proper job. Who is offering?

If you ever get the chance: go. Highly recommended. Haven't walked enough of the 'Great Ocean Walk' but promises to take you to the more, by car not accessible, spots.

CHOCOLATE!!! We love it! Yesterday we went to the #chocolatefactory on #philipisland. We learned a lot: of which ingredients is chocolate made of, how cacoa grows and how to get the cacao out of the beans and, with a lot of work, finally in to our mouths. We enjoyed it very much.
